NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for telecoms civils work to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Ackton Lane, North

Featherstone for approximately 125 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Ackton Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Sewerbridge Lane, Havertop Lane, A6539, B6421

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for pole testing to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Mill Lane, Old Snydale for approximately 75 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Mill Lane.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to allow for gas main replacement works to be carried out as follows:ROADS AFFECTED: Station Road, Hemsworth from the railway bridge to Royd Moor Lane.

SPEED LIMIT: Temporary 30 MPH speed limit.

PERIOD OF ORDER: From and including 29th June 2026 to 17th July 2026 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 197) 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for resurfacing works to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Long Crest, Pontefract for approximately 315 metres between Carleton Crest and Woodland View. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Long Crest.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Carleton Crest,

Crest Drive, Woodland View & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including

29th June 2026 to 21st August 2026 between 07.00 hours to 17.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Residents access to be maintained where possible.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for sewer lining and patching works to be carried out as follows:ROAD TO BE CLOSED: The Green, South Kirkby full length. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of The Green.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Barnsley Road, Carr Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 1st July 2026 to 2nd July 2026, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and residents access to be maintained when safe to do so.
