The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (West Midlands) (No.12) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a length of unnamed highway which connects Moor Street and Shobnall Road at Burton on Trent, in the Borough of East Staffordshire. This is to enable development as permitted by East Staffordshire Borough Council under reference P/2025/00297.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO5645405).
They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Burton Library, High Street, Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire, DE14 1AH.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 15 June 2026.
