The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (North West) (No. 26) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of the whole of an unnamed footpath which connects Rowlandsway and Wavell Road at Manchester, in the City of Manchester. This is to enable development as permitted by Manchester City Council under reference 144655/FO/2025.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO8880974).
They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Manchester Library and Information Centre, St Peters Square, Manchester, M2 5PD.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 15 June 2026.
