The following planning applications have been received which are for Listed Building Consent

1. Removal of existing handrails and installation of steel post and perforated screen barrier along bridge parapet at Bridge MDL3/82, Church Street, Paddock, Huddersfield. Application No. 2026/91340.

2. Installation of five overhead electric line equipment portals on piers 2, 6,10,14 & 18 with supporting wall brackets; tubular handrail added to both parapets; new downpipes on north elevation at piers 2, 6,10,14 & 18; Addition of precast reinforced concrete L units installed on the inner face of entire northern parapet. New parapet over north side of Span 1 (Carr Lane) and L unit constructed over south side of Span 1 at Crimble Railway Viaduct, Carr Lane, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield. Application No. 2026/91336.

3. Replacement windows, replacing/repairing stonework within window arrangements, including stone management, re-pointing and associated alterations at Kirkby Grange Farm, Kirkby Lane, Flockton, Huddersfield. Application No. 2026/91238.

4. Demolition and rebuild of porch at 40, Broken Cross Lane, Almondbury, Huddersfield. Application No. 2026/91161.

The following planning applications have been received which are for Listed Building Consent and are either within a Conservation Area or affect its setting

5. Installation of five overhead electric line equipment portals on piers 1, 5, 10, 15 and 19 with supporting wall brackets; tubular handrail added to both parapets; new downpipes on south elevation at piers 1, 5, 10, 15 and 19; parapets on northern side of the viaduct strengthened with addition of precast reinforced concrete L units installed on the inner face at Longwood Railway Viaduct, Crow Lane, Milnsbridge, Huddersfield. Application No. 2026/91337.

6. Installation of five overhead electric line equipment portals on piers 3, 7 and 11 with supporting wall brackets; tubular handrail to replace existing on span over Bank Gate; new downpipes on same piers connected to existing outflow pipes. Reinforcement of the north parapet with precast concrete L units and rebuilding north side of eastern terminating span over Bank Gate, including replacement of bridge deck, parapet, and reconstruction of flanking pilasters at Slaithwaite Railway Viaduct, Nabbs Lane, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield. Application No. 2026/91339.

The following planning application has been received which is for Listed Building Consent, would affect the setting of a Listed Building and is either within a Conservation Area or affects its setting

7. Internal works to allow the installation of a temporary staircase (to facilitate construction works in association with the refurbishment and redevelopment of the George Hotel and its coming into operational use to provide 108-bedroom hotel with bar, restaurant, gym, conference facilities and ancillary facilities, approved under previous Listed Building Consent application reference 2025/91148 and previous planning permission application reference 2025/91147) at George Hotel, St George’s Square, Huddersfield. Application No. 2026/91370.

The following planning application has been received which affects the setting of a Listed Building and is either within a Conservation Area or affects its setting

8. Variation condition 2 (plans) 9 (drainage), 10 (drainage), 14 (highways) and 17 (provision of footway) on previous permission 2024/90839 for erection of 7 dwellings and associated infrastructure following partial demolition of existing public house at Rose and Crown Inn, 132, Knowl Road, Golcar, Huddersfield.

The following planning application has been received which is either within a Conservation Area or affects its setting

9. Formation of parking area with retaining wall and associated works at 10, Hoyle Beck Close, Linthwaite, Huddersfield.

The following planning applications have been received which affect a public right of way

10. 11. Variation of condition 2.
