What is planned?

PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS & CONSERVATION AREAS) ACT 1990

The following applications have been made to the City Council and are required to be advertised under the above Acts.

26F/1568 - 17 Sefton Drive (8) Applicant 105 Developments Ltd. To erect single storey side extension and alter fenestration throughout in connection with the use of the premises as 6 no. flats.

26L/1562 - Watchman's Hut on north side of Pier Head, Canning Half Tide Dock (3) Applicant Maria Cochrane. Planning application to vary condition 2 attached to planning reference 25L/0845 (To carry out remedial fabric repairs, replacement windows and external door, installation of new electrical fittings and associated external works to provide level access) so as to ratify the window fenestration as installed and to ratify the waterproofing treatment to the roof.

26F/1561 - Plot 4a De Havilland Drive (24) Applicant Mr Jeff Pike. To erect 1 no. Industrial Warehouse Unit (Use Classes B2/B8) with office accommodation and associated landscaping.

26F/1599 - Speke Hall, The Walk (24) Applicant Shona Taylor. To create recycling compound comprising of no.5 compost bays with associated works including new boundary and hardstanding works.

26H/1402 - 9 York Avenue (17) Applicant Mrs. Claire Giblin. Retrospective application to retain 3no. sliding sash windows to front of property.

In the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, for a householder application only, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage. Notice of Adoption of the Liverpool Housing Design Guide Supplementary Planning Document

In accordance with Regulations 11 and 14 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012, notice is given that Liverpool City Council adopted the Liverpool Housing Design Guide Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on 2nd June 2026.

The Liverpool Housing Design Guide SPD builds upon the policies set out in the Local Plan by providing detailed guidance to support, encourage and enable high-quality housing design, ensuring well-designed and sustainable development across the city.

A copy of the SPD, the Strategic Environmental Assessment Screening Report, the Adoption Notice and Consultation Statement are available for public inspection on the Council's website at https://liverpool.gov.uk/planning-and-building-control/plan-making-inliverpool/ and at the following locations during their normal opening times:

- Cunard Offices, Brunswick Street, Liverpool L3 1AH
- Central Library William Brown St, Liverpool L3 8EW

The proposals came into operation on 2nd June 2026. Any person aggrieved by the SPD may apply to the High Court for permission to apply for judicial review of the decision to adopt the SPD. Such an application must be made promptly and, in any event, not later than three months after the date on which the SPD was adopted.

Notice of Adoption of the Pumpfields & Limekilns Supplementary Planning Document

In accordance with Regulations 11 and 14 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012, notice is given that Liverpool City Council adopted the Pumpfields & Limekilns Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on 2nd June 2026. 

The Pumpfields & Limekilns SPD expands upon policies included within the Local Plan and provides more detailed guidance to enable, encourage and support those proposing development to ensure highquality placemaking, coordinated regeneration and sustainable growth across the Pumpfields & Limekilns area.

A copy of the SPD, the Strategic Environmental Assessment Screening Report, the
