What is planned?

SOUTH DERBYSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL

The Council has under consideration the following applications:

Ref: DMPA/2025/1597 (Major development) Approval of Reserved Matters (access, appearance, layout, scale & landscaping) for residential development of 196 dwellings pursuant to outline permission ref. DMPA/2019/0931 (Outline application with all matters reserved, except for part access into the site from Moira Road, for the residential development of up to 300 dwellings, a local centre comprising a 1,600sqm food store (Class A1 Use), 700sqm restaurant/fast food (Class A3 Use) & 550sqm pub (Class A4 Use), together with employment land consisting of 2,000sqm Class B1(b) research and development and/or B1(c) light industrial uses, 4,000sqm Class B2 general industrial uses & 8,000sqm Class B8 storage & distribution uses, together with access from the Woodville Regeneration Route (to be delivered by others) & public open space, landscaping & associated drainage infrastructure) as varied by ref. DMPA/2023/0583 (The variation of condition 3b Biodiversity Net Gain) on Land north of Occupation Lane (Woodville Regeneration Area), Woodville, Swadlincote

Ref: DMPA/2025/1680 (Affects the setting of a listed building) The variation of condition no's 5 & 8 (window headers & windows) of permission ref. 09/2003/0709/F for The demolition of a bungalow & the erection of a house on Land adjacent to Overseal Manor, Moira Road, Overseal, Swadlincote

Ref: DMPA/2026/0476 (Affects a conservation area) The replacement of all timber windows with uPVC units & replacement of front & patio doors at Creamery Farm, Dag Lane, Lullington, Swadlincote, DE12 8EQ

Ref: DMPA/2026/0636 (Affects a conservation area; Affects the setting of a listed building) Outline application (matters of access, layout, scale, appearance & landscaping reserved for later consideration) for construction of one detached, residential two storey dwelling on Land adjacent to 57 Main Street, Ticknall, Derby, DE73 7JF

Applications may be viewed at planning.southderbyshire. gov.uk or during working hours at the Civic Offices, Civic Way, Swadlincote, DE11 0AH. Any comments must be made in writing, quoting the application reference number, within 21 days of the date of the publication of this notice (not including public holidays)

This notice is given in accordance with provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 and/or associated subordinate legislation.
