PUBLIC NOTICE by Westminster City Council
Notice is hereby given that Westminster City Council proposes to make an order under sub-section 247 (2A) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (“the 1990 Act”), the general effect of which will be to authorise the stopping up of a 1.12 square metres area of the highway Ebury Street to enable the development comprising the erection of a square column to support the north-western corner of upper floors of the building Ebury Gate, 23 Lower Belgrave Street, London SW1W 0NT
The part of the highway that the order would authorise to be stopped up extends: (a) 1.6 metres metres in the direction that is parallel to the middle line of Ebury Street, (b) 1.4 metres metres in the direction that is parallel to the middle line of Lower Belgrave Street, (c) is right angled triangle in shape, and (d) is situated adjacent to the Ebury Street and Lower Belgrave Street chamfered corner of the building Ebury Gate, 23 Lower Belgrave Street, London SW1W 0NT

The order and plan identifying the location of the highway proposed to be stopped up may be inspected free of charge between 11am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays at Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP, during a period of 28 days from the date of this notice. Please telephone +44(0)7811238194 to arrange an appointment. Alternatively you may e-mail jperkins@westminster.gov.uk for a copy.
Any person may, within that period, object to the making of the order by notice to Westminster City Council, at City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, SW1E 6QP. Please quote reference E&C/ST&C/NC/JRP/202602001 in any such notice.
This notice is given pursuant to section 252 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
Westminster City Council granted permission for the development under part three of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 on 5 November 2025 under reference 24/05141/FULL
