HYSBYSIR drwy hyn fod Cyngor Sir Caerfyrddin wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy'n gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag mynd ar hyd yr C2199, Pont Newydd i Fynyddygarreg, Pont-iets, Llanelli o fan sydd 55 metr i'r de-orllewin o'r gyffordd â'r C2204 (Pedair-hewl i Bont-iets) am oddeutu 50 metr i gyfeiriad y de-orllewin.

Lle bo'n bosibl caniateir i gerddwyr ac i gerbydau gael mynediad i eiddo unigol drwy gydol y cyfnod y bydd y ffordd ar gau.

Y Ffordd Arall ar gyfer traffig sy'n teithio tua'r de-orllewin fydd ar hyd yr C2204 (Pedair-hewl i Bont-iets), yr C2057 (Mynyddygarreg i'r Meinciau) a'r C2199 (Pont Newydd i Fynyddygarreg). I'r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer traffig sy'n teithio tua'r gogledd-ddwyrain.

Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau mewn grym wrth i Gyngor Sir Caerfyrddin wneud gwaith i adnewyddu strwythur ar y briffordd.

Bwriedir i'r gwaith ddechrau ar 15 Mehefin 2026, am gyfnod o chwe wythnos.

The County of Carmarthenshire

(C2199 Pont Newydd to Mynyddygarreg, Pontyates, Llanelli)
(Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the C2199, Pont Newydd to Mynyddygarreg, Pontyates, Llanelli, from a point 55 metres Southwest of its junction with the C2204 (Four Roads to Pontyates) for approximately 50 metres in a South Westerly direction.

Pedestrian and vehicular access to individual properties will be maintained where possible throughout the duration of the closure.

The Alternative Route for South Westbound traffic will be via the C2204 (Four Roads to Pontyates), the C2057 (Mynyddygarreg to Meinciau) and the C2199 (Pont Newydd to Mynyddygarreg).

The same route applies in reverse for North Eastbound traffic.

The Order will continue in force whilst Carmarthenshire County Council undertakes highway structure replacement works.

It is intended that the works commence on 15th June 2026 for a period of six weeks.

Where appropriate temporary Road Traffic Regulation Orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months.
