The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (West Midlands) (No.13) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a length and turning head of Railway Terrace at Nechells in the City of Birmingham.
This is to enable development as permitted by Birmingham City Council, under reference 2022/03097/PA.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/ WM/S247/5481). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Bloomsbury Library, 28 Oliver St, Birmingham, B7 4NX.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 10 June 2026.
