PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given, in accordance with the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012, that following submission of the Medway Local Plan 2041 to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government on 18 December 2025, a further consultation on the
supporting evidence documents will be held alongside a call for sites exercise for Gypsy and Traveller, and Travelling Showpeople.

The Local Plan supporting evidence documents can be viewed on Medway Council’s website at: Medway.gov.uk/LocalPlanExamination
Due to restricted access at Medway Council’s Gun Wharf office due to building works, physical copies of the Habitats Regulation Assessment and submission evidence documents including transport, strategic flood
risk, topic papers, Infrastructure Delivery Plan Delivery Plan, Developer
Contributions Guide and additional
studies can be inspected during normal opening hours at Chatham Library & Community Hub (Dock Road, Chatham, ME4 4TX). There is electronic access to these documents in other public libraries across Medway.
The consultation period runs from Monday, 8 June to Monday, 6 July 2026
