The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Diversion of Highways (South East) (No.9) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up and diversion of a length of Public Right of Way TR26 at Ramsgate in the District of Thanet. This is to enable development as permitted by Thanet District Council under reference F/TH/25/0003.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO2242282).
They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Thanet District Council, The Gateway, Cecil Street, Margate, Kent, CT9 1XZ.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 05 June 2026.
