Rwyf yn hysbysu bod: Cenin Renewables Ltd
yn gwneud cais i Weinidogion Cymru am ganiatâd cynllunio mewn perthynas â Datblygiad o Arwyddocâd Cenedlaethol (DAC), sef:

• Cymryd tir a ryddheir allan o’r comin a’i ddisodli â thir cyfnewid sy’n cyffinio â Chomin Coety Walia.
Cydsyniad o dan Adran 38 (Gwaith ar Dir Comin) Deddf Tiroedd Comin 2006 (fel y’i diwygiwyd)

• Gwaith ar y Comin, cyfadeiladau adeiladu dros dro, gosod ceblau trydan wrth ochr llwybrau a chreu maes parcio newydd ag arwyneb grasscrete i gynyddu lles cymdeithasol.

Cais am Orchymyn o dan Adran 247 (Cau Priffyrdd) Deddf Cynllunio Gwlad a Thref 1990 (fel y’i diwygiwyd)

The Developments of National Significance (Procedure) (Wales) Order 2016 (As Amended)

NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 18 OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION IN RESPECT OF DEVELOPMENT OF NATIONAL SIGNIFICANCE

Proposed development at: Land to the North of Heol y Cyw, Bridgend

I give notice that: Cenin Renewables Ltd
is applying to the Welsh Ministers for planning permission in respect of Development of National Significance (DNS) which is:

(1) The construction and operation of up to 11 wind turbines and associated infrastructure including substation switches, access tracks and turning heads, borrow pits, temporary construction compounds (including holding bays), crane pads, underground cabling, drainage works and biodiversity proposals including creation, enhancement and restoration; and

(2) grid connection comprising the installation of underground electricity cables.

The DNS planning application is accompanied by four Secondary Consent applications for:
Consent under Section 16 (Deregistration and Exchange of Common Land) of the Commons Act 2006 (as amended)

• Taking release land out of the common and exchanging it for replacement land adjoining Coity Wallia Common. 
Consent under Section 38 (Works on Common Land) of the Commons Act 2006 (as amended)

• Works on Common, temporary construction compounds, laying electricity cables alongside tracks and creation of a new car park with grasscrete surface to increase social well-being.

An Application for an Order under Section 247 (The Stopping up of Highways) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (As Amended)

• Downgrading the BOAT (Byway Open to All Traffic) into a bridleway to protect the common’s most important ecology and biodiversity.

An Application for Planning permission under Section 57 (Planning Permission Required for Development) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (As Amended)

• Planning permission to authorise the grid connection comprising the installation of underground electricity cables.

THE APPLICATION IS ACCOMPANIED BY AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT
Members of the public may obtain copies of the Environmental Statement from: The Research Centre, Parc Stormy, Stormydown, Bridgend CF33 4RS, for a charge, so long as stocks last.

Anyone who wishes to make representations about this application must write to the Welsh Ministers (details below) by 10/07/2026. All representations received will be published online as soon as the deadline has passed.
