Proposed visitor centre, café, shop and associated support infrastructure including car and coach parking on land north-east of Old Orchard House, Ardochy, Invergarry
Notice is hereby given under Regulation 7 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 and the Town and Country Planning (Pre Application Consultation) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021 that the first of two public consultation events is to be held on behalf of Mars Commercial Property Holdings Ltd (the prospective applicant) in respect of a future planning application to develop a visitor centre, café and shop as detailed above.
The first public engagement event will be held on Thursday 11th June 2026 at the Glengarry Community Hall in Invergarry between the hours of 3.30pm-6.30pm inclusive. The second event will be held at the same time and venue on Thursday 25th June 2026.
The events will be attended by the project’s town planning consultant, members of the project team and representatives of the prospective applicant, who will be available to answer questions and provide any additional information or clarification as required.
Any persons wishing to make comments to the prospective applicant on the content of the public exhibition and related proposals may do so by visiting the website at www.glengarryviewpoint.co.uk from Thursday 11th June 2026 at 9am; or by writing directly to Farningham Planning Ltd, Daldownie, Borelick, Dunkeld, PH8 0BX or by email to alan.farningham@farnmac.co.uk.
Feedback forms will be available at the event and online, and all comments and questions on the first event should be submitted to the above noted addresses by no later than Monday 22nd June 2026.
This notice does not relate to a planning application. As such, comments made to the prospective applicant at this time do not constitute representations to the Planning Authority. An opportunity to make representations to The Highland Council will be available following formal submission of the planning application, when neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time.
