The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (South West) (No.9) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a southern part width of A420 adjacent to Ashlar House comprising its highway verge at South Gloucestershire, in South Gloucestershire.
This is to enable development as permitted by South Gloucestershire Council under reference P24/02729/F.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SW/ S247/6261). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Oldland Common Post Office, 171-173 High Street, Oldland Common, Bristol, BS30 9QG.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 4 June 2026.
