Comments on applications should be made before the date indicated next to the application as it may not be possible to take into account any comments received after this date.
The comments can be submitted electronically by going to the website

You will be able to check that it has been uploaded to the website, but please allow 5 working days for it to be uploaded. Unfortunately it is not possible for the Council to respond to each letter individually but your comments will be carefully considered before the application is determined. You will be advised if the application is one that is going to be determined by the Planning Committee and you will be informed of the decision. The progress of the application can be followed on the website.
Should the application subsequently go to an appeal, the council will forward any comments made to the Planning Inspectorate and they will publish them on their website:

but they will protect personal details. Please note that where an appeal proceeds by way of the expedited procedure under the written representations procedure, there is no further opportunity to make comments on the application.
