The Council is inviting comments on an application for planning permission to carry out the following development which in their opinion would affect the setting of a building of special architectural or historic interest as defined by Section 1 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

• In the event that an appeal is made against the decision of the Council, and that appeal then proceeds by way of an expedited procedure under the written representations procedure any representations made to the Council about this application will be passed to the Secretary of State and copied to the applicant. There will be no opportunity to make further representations.
