Planning Application Reference: WD/2025/2212/MFA PINS REF: 6005636

Description of Development: Variation of conditions 3, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15 and 18 of WD/2021/0559/MAJ (conversation of care home to form 8 no. flats together with the construction of 9 no. new dwellings and associated works) to enable revised wording.

REASON FOR INQUIRY: Wealden District Council have received an appeal for nondetermination of the application as outlined above which was not validated at the planning stage by the council as the Local Planning Authority.

The Inspector appointed to decide the appeal is M Bale and the Inquiry is scheduled to take place on 14 and 15 July 2026. The venue is yet to be determined which will be publicised in advance of the opening.

All representations must be received by 19 June 2026 and directed to the Local Planning Authority. All representations must quote the appeal reference.

We also ask for you to send a copy of your representation to planning.appeals@wealden.gov.uk.

Any representations submitted after the deadline will not usually be considered and will be returned.

The Planning Inspectorate does not acknowledge representations.
