What is planned?

Local Government Act 1972, Section 123(2A) - Notice of Intended Disposal of Open Space Land adjoining 80 Firs Road, Edwalton NG12 4BX, by Rushcliffe Borough Council

Notice is hereby given that Rushcliffe Borough Council (the “Council”) intends to dispose of a small parcel of land (the “Land”), measuring approximately 6.9 square metres and forming part of the grassed verge adjoining the property known as 80 Firs Road, Edwalton NG12 4BX, by way of freehold disposal for the purposes of widening the existing residential driveway at 80 Firs Road, Edwalton NG12 4BX.

The Land consists of or forms part of an area of deemed open space. The extent and location of the Land is shown edged in red on the plan attached to the notice (the “Plan”). A copy of the Plan can be inspected at Rushcliffe Borough Council, Rushcliffe Arena, Rugby Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 7YG between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Any objections to the intended disposal of the Land must be made in writing and addressed to Property Services Manager, Property Services, Rushcliffe Borough Council, Rushcliffe Arena, Rugby Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 7YG or by email to propertyservices@rushcliffe.gov.uk, stating the reasons for such objections by no later than 5.00pm on 16 June 2026.
