NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15 OF TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND) ORDER 2015 AND UNDER THE PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS AND CONSERVATION AREAS) ACT 1990

KCC/AS/0059/2026 – Proposed development at Lady Joanna Thornhill Primary School, Bridge Street, Wye, Ashford, TN25 5EA.

Kent County Council is applying to Kent County Council Planning Applications Group for planning permission for Removal of 4no. dormer windows to the Junior building and 1no. dormer window to the Infant building.

The proposed development is within the Wye Conservation Area and might affect its character and/or appearance and might affect the setting of a listed building.

We accept comments online via the direct link on the County Council’s website or by email to planning.applications@kent.gov.uk. You may also write to Planning Applications Group, Kent County Council, First Floor, Invicta House, County Hall, Maidstone, Kent ME14 1XX although we would strongly encourage you to submit comments online or by email at this time due to ongoing hybrid working arrangements.

We accept comments within 21 days from the date of this notice (by 18 June 2026). Please quote the application reference number (KCC/AS/0059/2026) and note that comments may be drawn to the attention of Council Members, the applicant and other interested persons and may include publishing on the Borough Council website.
