NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 13 OF
APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION
Proposed development at: Land bounded by Kent Road, Salthouse Avenue, Rigby Road, A5099 Central Drive, Revoe Street, Grasmere Road, Ashton Road, Harrison Street, Ibbison Court, and Princess Street.
Take notice that application is being made by: Blackpool Borough Council for planning permission for the development described below.
Description of development: a Hybrid Application for the first phase of transformational housing intervention activity within the Blackpool Central Housing Regeneration Area, comprising:
(A) Full planning application for:
1 Demolition of up to 300 existing buildings and structures on the site and removal of associated existing infrastructure. 2 Site clearance and preparation work.
(B) Outline application (with all matters reserved for future consideration) for:
1 Up to 230 new dwellings (use class C3) with car and cycle parking.
2 Local Centre Uses comprising floorspace for flexible E use classes (including office, retail, leisure [including food and beverage]), F2 use classes (including halls, meeting places for local community).
3 New public realm and hard and soft landscaped public open spaces.
4 Provision of associated infrastructure and highway works.
Local Planning Authority to whom the application is being submitted: Blackpool Borough Council, Local Planning Authority address: PO BOX 17, Corporation Street, Blackpool, FY1 1LZ.
Any owner of the land or tenant who wishes to make representations about this application, should write to the Council within 21 days of the date of this notice at the above address.

Statement of owners’ rights: The grant of planning permission does not affect owners’ rights to retain or dispose of their property, unless there is some provision to the contrary in an agreement or lease.

‘Owner’ means a person having a freehold interest or a leasehold interest the unexpired term of which is not less than seven years. ‘Tenant’ means a tenant of an agricultural holding any part of which is comprised in the land.
