What is planned?

The Council has under consideration the following application:

Ref: DMPA/2025/1682 (affects a conservation area) Change of use of the land from residential use (Use Class C3) to offices facilitated by the erection of the outbuilding (Use Class E) at 124 Heath Lane, Findern, Derby, DE65 6AR

Ref: DMPA/2026/0360 (affects the setting of a listed building) The variation of condition no. 12 (Bat Mitigation) of permission ref. DMPA/2021/0406 (relating to the erection of replacement farmhouse with garage and new access) at Grasscroft, Osleston Lane, Dalbury Lees, Ashbourne, DE6 5BN

Ref: DMPA/2026/0484 (affects a conservation area) The conversion and extension of an existing barn to a single dwelling and the erection of a new detached garage serve the existing dwelling at Hillgrove Cottage, Watery Lane, Bretby, Burton on Trent DE15 0RD

Ref: DMPA/2026/0535 (affects the setting of a listed building) Retrospective installation of solar panels to the roof of the garage at Wood Farm House, Wood Farm Lane, Woodville, Derbyshire, DE11 7JY

Ref: DMPA/2026/0560 (affects the setting of a listed building) The conversion of existing single garage to habitable living space, including alterations to external windows and doors; the erection of a single-storey rear infill extension; the installation of photovoltaic panels, air source heat pump and battery storage and a new vehicular access at 3 Old Hall Lane, Church Broughton, Derby, DE65 5DA

Ref: DMPA/2026/0606 (affects a conservation area, affects the setting of a listed building) Retention of a fishing hut at Weston Hall Farm, Weston Hall Drive, Weston-on- Trent, Derby DE72 2BJ

Applications may be viewed at planning.southderbyshire.gov.uk or during working hours at the Civic Offices, Civic Way, Swadlincote, DE11 0AH. 

Any comments must be made in writing, quoting the application reference number, within 21 days of the date of the publication of this notice (not including public holidays) This notice is given in accordance with provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 and/or associated subordinate legislation.

Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, all representations received become documents, which the public has a right to read and copy.

Comments and objections on applications and enforcement matters do not form part of the statutory register, and as such we will only retain these for up to two years following a decision being made unless an appeal is lodged.
