Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with Regulation 14 of the Town and
Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2012, the Greater Cambridge Planning Obligations Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) was adopted by Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council on 30 April 2026.

The SPD and supporting documents are available to view on the Greater Cambridge Shared Planning Service website:
https://www.greatercambridgeplanning.org/local-and-neighbourhood-planning/supplementary-planning-documents-and-other-guidance/greater-cambridge-supplementary-planning-documents-spd and can be viewed by appointment only, at the following locations:

  • Cambridge City Council’s Customer Service Centre at Mandela House, 4 Regent Street, Cambridge, CB2 1BY. Telephone: 01223 475000 for an appointment.
  • South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne,
    Cambridge, CB23 6EA. Telephone: 01954 713000 for an appointment.

Any person aggrieved by the adoption of the SPD may apply to the High Court for permission to apply for judicial review of the decision to adopt the SPD by the Councils. Any such application must be made promptly and, in any event, not later than 3 months after the date on which the SPD was adopted.

In accordance with Regulation 15 of the Town and Country Planning (Local
Development) (England) Regulations 2012, Cambridge City Council formally
revokes the Cambridge City Council Planning Obligations Strategy Supplementary Planning Document 2010.
