LUTON COUNCIL PLANNING POLICY PUBLIC CONSULTATION
Luton Local Plan Review – Scoping Consultation – Regulation 20

Midday 28 May to 5pm 23 July 2026

Luton Council is producing a new Local Plan for Luton. We are undertaking a Scoping Consultation for the Local Plan which seeks your views about what the Local Plan should contain and how we should engage with you in the preparation of the Plan. The documents we have produced for the consultation cover matters such as housing, employment and the natural environment.

Alternatively, you can email your response to localplan@luton.gov.uk or send it by post to ‘Freepost Luton Borough Council – Planning Consultation’. You can also drop off your response at the Town Hall, Upper George Street, Luton, LU12BQ marked ‘Planning Consultation’ during the hours above.

Please note we are unable to accept anonymous responses. When you respond, you must consider and agree to the Privacy Notice with the consultation documents in order for your responses to be considered. All valid responses will be publicly available. However, your contact details will be private except for your name/organisation. Your details and your comments will be held on our private consultation database so that we can keep you informed.
