Community Consultation Event - 2 & 3

Proposed Data Centre - Chapelhall, North Lanarkshire

A Planning Permission in Principle application will be submitted to North Lanarkshire Council by HFD Renewables Ltd., for a Data Centre with associated plant and infrastructure. The application relates to land at Lancaster Avenue, Chapelhall, North Lanarkshire. 3 Consultation Events are proposed.

The first of three consultation events was held on the 12th of May. The second consultation event will be held at DoubleTree Hilton, Strathclyde Business Park, ML4 3JQ on the 2nd of June between 4:00pm and 8:00pm.

The third community consultation event will be held at Mount Pleasant Community Centre on the 4th of June between 3:00pm and 8:30pm. All information will also be published online at https://www.hfdgroup.com

Comments can also be made via the website, https://www.hfdgroup.com/dv4 or (E-mail dv4@hfdgroup.com. Additionally, comments can be posted to HFD, 177 Bothwell Street, Glasgow, G2 7ER (marked ‘DV4 Pre Application Consultation’). All comments should be received no later than 11th June 2026 that will allow us to respond to your comments and complete our reporting of the consultation.

Comments provided at the consultation event are not official representations to the planning authority but will be recorded in a report to the Council. Once a planning application is submitted there will be a further formal opportunity to comment to North Lanarkshire Council’s Planning Service.
