(STALLEY ROYD LANE, JACKSON BRIDGE, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Stalley Royd Lane, Jackson Bridge from its junction with South View to its junction with Tenter Hill PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Tenter Hill, Meltham House Lane, Hollin House Lane, Butterley Lane, Sheffield Road, Bank Street, South View and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday, 8 June 2026 between 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(SMITHY PLACE LANE, BROCKHOLES, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Smithy Place Lane, Brockholes from its junction with Haggroyd Lane to a point outside property no. 15 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. 

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Smithy Place Lane, Woodhead Road, Station Road, New Mill Road and vice versa. 

It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday, 8 June 2026 between 09:00 hours and 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(ROODS LANE, HOLMBRIDGE, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Roods Lane, Holmbridge from its junction with Flush House Lane to its junction with Field End Lane/Bank Top Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Flush House Lane, Acres Lane, Harden Moss Road, Greenfield Road, Park Head Lane, Woodhead Road, Modd Lane, Field End Lane Roods Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Wednesday, 10 June 2026 between 09:00 hours and 16:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(YEW TREE LANE, COWLERSLEY, HUDDERSFIELD) 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Yew Tree Lane, Cowlersley from a point outside property no. 16 to a point outside property no. 10 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Yew Tree Lane, Cowlersley Lane, Manchester Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Tuesday, 9 June 2026 between 08:00 hours and 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(SPRINGWOOD ROAD, THONGSBRIDGE, HOLMFIRTH) 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Springwood Road, Thongsbridge from a point outside property no. 46 to a point outside property no. 44 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Springwood Road, New Mill Road, Heys Road, Miry Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence at 00:00 hours on Tuesday, 26 May 2026 and remain in force until 23:59 hours on 30 May 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(TAYLOR LANE, SCAPEGOAT HILL, HUDDERSFIELD) 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Taylor Lane, Scapegoat Hill, Huddersfield from a point outside property no. 48 to a point outside property no. 52 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Taylor Lane, Pike Law Lane, Slaithwaite Gate, High Street and vice versa. 

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 27 May 2026 and remain in force until 27 May 2026 between 08:00 hours and 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(HOLLIN HOUSE LANE, CLAYTON WEST, HUDDERSFIELD) 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Hollin House Lane, Clayton West from a point approximately 65 metres west of entrance to Hollins House Farm to a point approximately 230 metres west of Hollins House Farm PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Hollin House Lane, Wheatley Hill Lane, Upper Common Lane, Bank End Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Friday, 29 May 2026 between 09:30 hours to 15:30 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(PLANE STREET, HUDDERSFIELD) 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Plane Street, Huddersfield from its junction with Malvern Drive to its termination point PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. There is no alternative diversionary route available. Access maintained for emergency service vehicles only.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 25 May 2026 and remain in force until 24 July 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LEEDS ROAD/COOPER BRIDGE ROAD, HUDDERSFIELD) 
(TEMPORARY REDUCTION OF SPEED) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed to proceed at a speed in excess of 20 mph in that length of Leeds Road/ Cooper Bridge Road from its junction with Lower Quarry Road to a point after Yorkshire Water Treatment Plant entrance.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday, 22 May 2026 to follow on from the expiry of the Emergency Notice dated 30 April 2026 and will remain in force until 31 May 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
