Notice under Regulation 25: Further information in relation to the planning application and environmental statement has been provided by the applicant, as detailed below

Proposed development at: King George Vi Reservoir, Stanwell Moor Road And Land At Hithermoor Quarry, Leylands Lane, Stanwell Moor, Surrey

Brett Aggregates Ltd has applied to Surrey County Council for planning permission for Extraction of sand and gravel from King George VI reservoir and transportation by conveyor to Hithermoor Quarry for processing; retention and use of existing processing plant; continuation of wet and dry recycling of construction demolition and excavation waste including windfall aggregate, retention and use of the Hydraulically Bound Material plant and creation of temporary bunds together with retention and use of offices, welfare facilities, HGV parking with retention and use of the existing haul road and access from Leylands Lane; with restoration of Lower Mill Farm voids to nature conservation; and of Hithermoor Quarry to nature conservation, public access and agricultural use.

The proposed development does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the application is situated. The application was first publicised on 26 November 2021 and further information relating to the application and ES was publicised on 8 September 2023, 7 March 2025, 3 October 2025 and 1 May 2026 respectively.

This application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement. Further information in relation to the planning application and environmental information not in response to a request under Regulation 25 of the Regulations (“other environmental information”), in relation to the Environmental Statement (ES) has been submitted by the Applicant.

The information in relation to the planning application and “other environmental information” in relation to the ES comprises SLR Consulting Limited letter titled King George VI Reservoir Regulation 25-3rd Response dated 30 April 2026 and SLR Consulting Limited document titled Water Framework Directive Assessment Revision 02 dated 10 April 2026. 

The information in relation to the planning application and “other environmental information” in relation to the ES comprises SLR Consulting letter titled King George VI Reservoir Response to County Geologist dated 4 March 2026.
