NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Charnwood Borough Council intends to dispose of an area of land consisting of or forming part of an open space.
The land to which this notice relates is:
Loughborough Leisure Centre, Browns Lane, Loughborough, LE11 3HE
South Charnwood Leisure Centre, Parkstone Road, Syston, LE7 1LY
Soar Valley Leisure Centre, Kingfisher Road, Leicester, LE12 7FG
The proposed disposal is:
Grant of lease for the purpose of providing leisure services and ancillary use.
A plan showing the land to which the proposed disposal relates to may be viewed on the Council's website at www.charnwood.gov.uk/section123 or by requesting a copy of the same by sending an email to asset.management@charnwood.gov.uk.
Any representations or objections to the proposed disposal must be made in writing to: asset.management@charnwood.gov.uk stating the reasons for such objections, by no later than Friday, 19 June 2026.
