Notice of applications for planning permission under Article 15 of the Order

Applications Affecting Listed Buildings and/or Conservation Areas

All comments must be received within 21 days and will go on public view

PL/26/0430: 7 Surley Row, Emmer Green, Reading, RG4 8ND: Loft conversion including hip-to-gable roof extension, localised raising of part of the roof, and associated alterations.

PL/26/0533: 72 Watlington Street, Reading, RG1 4RT: Replacement of existing conservatory with a single storey rear extension, enlargement of rear dormer, and installation of two small front windows.

PL/26/0529: 36, Minster Street, Reading, RG1 2JB: Projecting Hanging Sign & 2x Fascia Lettering (Illuminated 3D Acrylic Letters) The fascia signage will comprise individual 3D acrylic letters forming the business name “The Sunset Salon” and the tagline “Californian Haircraft”. The letters will be manufactured from black acrylic and mounted directly onto the building façade using concealed stand-off fixings.

PL/26/0578: Reading Station, Station Approach, Reading, RG1 1LY: Installation of a telecommunications cable within a Grade II listed building to provide fibre connectivity.

PL/26/0609: 24 Baker Street, Reading RG1 7XX: Change of use of property from C4 use class (6 bedroom HMO) to Sui generis use class for seven bedroom HMO.

PL/26/0619: 1 The Brookmill, Reading RG1 6DD: Replacement front door.

PL/26/0620: 1A, New Road, Reading RG1 5JD: The erection of a dwelling with new vehicle access, parking, cycle and bin store with associated hard and soft landscaping.

Change of use of first to third floors from office (Class E) to provide serviced apartments (Class C1). Addition of fourth floor to provide serviced apartments (Class C1) and various associated alterations.
