What is planned?

Notice is hereby given that the TANDRIDGE DISTRICT COUNCIL has received the following applications for planning permission or which affect a listed building, conservation area, Tree Preservation Order, public footpath/ bridleway or major development. Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 - notice under article 15, & planning (listed building & buildings in conservation area) regulations 1990, & town & country planning (environmental impact assessment) regulations 2017 - notice under article 25

2026/388 - Land at Burstow Lodge Farm, Smallfield. Demolition of existing building and erection of 3 to 4 dwellings (Permission in principle).

2026/539 - Former Godstone Hotel, 87 High Street, Godstone. Demolition of modern extensions and change of use of existing hotel to form 4no. dwellings, erection of 5no. dwellings on surrounding land, and associated alterations to access and parking.

2026/534/TCA - 1 Bower Court, High Street, Limpsfield. Please see marker Site photos - G1: Yew - lower section trimmed / cut back in line with wall. Five overhanging branches cut back in line with wall, to reduce encroachment. Elder felled. Bamboo, Sycamore and Hazel to rear of garages cut back, giving at least 1m clearance.

2026/396 - Broomlands Farm, Broomlands Lane, Limpsfield. Demolition of existing buildings to provide 6 padel courts (3 under cover) and conversion of existing buildings to provide new club house and member facilities together with parking and landscaping.

2026/447 - Elm Farm, Eastbourne Road, South Godstone. Variation of Condition 2 (Approved plans) of planning permission ref: 2023/787 dated 24/10/2025 (Demolition of existing buildings and erection of 23 dwellings, with associated parking, amenity space, and modification of the existing vehicular access) to allow minor amendments to the site layout and floor plans.

2026/482 - 1 Manor House, East Grinstead Road, Lingfield.
Demolition of lean-to and erection of single storey rear extension.
