At this point the line of route turns to head in a southerly direction until it reaches the Colchester Road at White Colne, at which point it heads in a generally south westerly direction, crossing the River Colne at Chalkney Mill and the A120 and River Blackwater near Bradwell. At this point the line of route turns to head in a roughly easterly direction until reaching an electricity distribution site near Tye Green, where the line proceeds in a roughly southerly direction, crossing the Braintree Branch Line at Cressing, the River Brain at The Green, the River Ter near Fuller Street, the Great Eastern Main Line and A12 at Boreham, the River Chelmer near Chelmsford, the A12 and A1060 north of Sandon, the A12 near of Howe Green, the A132 at Runwell, the A129 at Rawreth and the A12 to the east of Rayleigh Main Substation before terminating.
