Notice of Stirling Local Development Plan Consultation

Stirling Council is preparing the next Local Development Plan (LDP3), which will cover the whole Council area aside from Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.

Once completed and approved, LDP3 shall set out where development should and should not take place, identify important places and assets that require protection, and include local planning policies to guide decisions on future planning applications.

The next stage of the LDP3 preparation process invites your views on the emerging Spatial Strategy and potential Site Options being considered for inclusion in the Proposed Plan.

To support this consultation, a series of in-person drop-in events will be held throughout May and June 2026.

Further information on the consultation, including access to survey forms and details of upcoming events, can be found on the Engage Stirling website.

Please scan the QR Code with a mobile device or visit www.engage.stirling.gov.uk.
