NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 12(3) OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION

Proposed development at Land East of Tata Steel Works, Deeside Industrial Park, Shotton give notice that Knauf Insulation Limited is applying to Flintshire County Council for planning permission to erect a rock mineral wool insulation product manufacturing plant (B2), including storage (B8), office space (B1), guardhouse, vehicular access, landscaping, parking and associated infrastructure, external works, demolition, remediation and refurbishment of existing buildings.

The application was made on 22/04/26.

The application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF PUBLIC OPEN SPACE LAND

In compliance with section 123 (2A) Local Government Act 1972, Flintshire County Council gives notice that it intends to dispose by private tender of approximately 0.92 acres of open space land at Maes y Dre, Mold, for market value, with any future alternative use to be subject to the grant of planning permission that any purchaser may require. A copy of a plan of the site may be inspected at Flintshire Connects, Mold Library, Earl Road, Mold, CH7 1AP, during normal opening hours, and is available for inspection on the Council’s website (Public Notices Section) at www.flintshire.gov.uk.
