What is planned?

TAKE NOTICE that the Borough Council has received the following planning applications and listed building consents (LBC) submitted under The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990:
*R/2026/0272/CA: Garage extension, front gates & repairs to front wall at 39 Kirkleatham Street, Redcar
*R/2026/0325/CA: Single storey extension to front at Old Vicarage, Upleatham
*As the above applications are householder applications, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission dealt with on the basis of written representations, any representations made will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment.
R/2026/0313/CA: Change of use from micro pub to retail outlet/café at 82 High Street, Marske
R/2026/0328/LB: Replace windows to front elevation at 46 Church Square, Church Street, Guisborough
R/2026/0338/LB: Replacement of 3 external doors at Upsall Mill Farm, Middlesbrough Road, Guisborough
Applications which affect the setting of a Listed Building under Section 67 of The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990:
R/2026/0271/OOM: Outline application with all matters reserved except access for up to 300 dwellings, provision of access, footpath & bridleway links; landscaping at Land North of Longbeck Lane and surrounding Sparrow Park Farm, Longbeck Lane, New Marske
Applications submitted under Article 15 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015:
** R/2026/0271/OOM: Outline application with all matters reserved except access for up to 300 dwellings, provision of access, footpath & bridleway links; landscaping at Land North of Longbeck Lane and surrounding Sparrow Park Farm, Longbeck Lane, New Marske
** R/2026/0284/FF: Demolition of 2 barns and erection of a two storey agricultural worker's dwelling at Millholme Farm, Skelton Road, Brotton.
**(The above proposals do not accord with the provisions of the development plans in force in the areas in which the land to which the applications relate is situated)
R/2025/0680/FFM: Change of use of grazing land to holiday park comprising touring & camping areas with assoc. facilities and landscaping; new vehicular access at Land west of Grewgrass Lane, New Marske
R/2026/0224/FFM: Three storey residential care home providing 27 bedrooms at land adjacent to Moorlands Nursing Home, Northgate, Guisborough.
R/2026/0290/RMM: Reserved Matters application for approval (access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale) pursuant to outline planning permission R/2022/0644/OMM for demolition of existing building & replace with residential development for 20 no. 1 & 2 bed apartments and associated parking at Former Empire Theatre, Deepdale Road, Loftus.
Applications can be viewed on the Council's web site: www.redcar-cleveland.gov.uk/Planning and documents downloaded if required. Anyone who wishes to make representations on the above should make them in writing to the Section within 21 days of the date of this publication.
Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 any representations made are available for public inspection.
