Town And Country Planning Act 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (South East) (No.7) Order 2026" authorising the stopping up of an eastern part width of The Ridings comprising of highway verge at Ashtead, in the District of Mole Valley. This is to enable development as permitted by Mole Valley District Council under reference MO/2025/02739.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ, or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk, (quoting SU00934801). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at: Epsom Library, The Ebbisham Centre, 6 The Derby Square, Epsom, KT19 8AG.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 14 May 2026.
