The following Proposals are the subject of an application submitted to the Council.

Proposal Affecting A Conservation Area

26/00992/FPH - 34 Meadow Way, Letchworth, Garden City, Hertfordshire,

SG6 3JB - First floor side extension over existing garage and insertion of rooflights to rear and side roofslopes to create additional habitable space at first floor level. Single storey rear extension following demolition of the existing conservatory. Alterations to fenestration including replacement garage doors.

26/00741/FP - Gosmore End House, Hitchin Road, Gosmore, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG4 7QH - Erection of one self-build 4-bed dwelling including installation of air source heat pump and landscaping.

26/00757/FP - Hitchin Tennis Club, Bancroft, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG5 1NJ - Insertion of bifold doors to replace existing windows. Erection of bin storage and outdoor storage.

26/00948/FP - 29 - 30 Oughton Head Way, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG5 2LA - Raise existing roof ridge height of both properties and insertion of rear dormer windows and front rooflights to facilitate conversion of loft spaces into habitable accommodation. Single storey rear extension to no.29 following demolition of existing rear element.

26/01063/FPH - 24 Wymondley Road, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG4 9PN - Part two storey and part single storey rear extension. Insertion of second floor rear windows and rear and side rooflights to facilitate loft conversion. Alterations to existing attached garage to include alterations to fenestration and raised roof height to facilitate gym and storage with study above in roof space to facilitate garage conversion into habitable accommodation following partial demolition of garage.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the Proposal should submit them in writing to this office by no later than 23 days from the date of this notice. For householder applications, in the event of an appeal against refusal of planning permission, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.
