What is planned?
South Staffordshire District Council - Main Modifications Consultation under Section 20 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 and Section 20 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012.
The Council is now consulting on proposed ‘Main Modifications’ to the Publication Plan, these being needed to make the Plan ‘Sound’ and allowing South Staffordshire District Council to proceed to adopt the new Local Plan in due course. The consultation documents can be viewed via the consultation portal at:

or at the Council Offices, Wolverhampton Road, Codsall, South Staffordshire, WV8 1PX between 8.45am – 5.00pm (Mon-Fri). Copies of the main documents are also deposited with parish councils in South Staffordshire.
Representations must be made in writing to the council by 12 noon on Friday, 26th June 2026.
