ROUGH ALPHA INSTALLATION- 47/8A DECOMMISSIONING
Centrica Energy Storage Limited has submitted, for the consideration of the Secretary of State for Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, a draft Decommissioning Programme for the Topsides and Jackets (Including Risers) of the Rough Alpha installation located in UK Block 47/8 of the Southern North Sea Sector of the United Kingdom Continental Shelf in accordance with the provisions of the Petroleum Act 1998. It is a requirement of the Act that interested parties be consulted on such decommissioning proposals.
The facilities covered by the Decommissioning Programme are:
The Topsides and Jackets (Including Risers) of the Rough Alpha Installation located approximately 29km North East of Easington, Yorkshire.
Note that the 47/3B installation, Rough Field pipelines and Rough Field subsea infrastructure are OPERATIONAL AND not contained within the decommissioning scope at this time and will be addressed in a separate programme at a later date.
