Any representations can be made online or in writing by email to planning@baberghmidsuffolk.gov.uk or post to the Chief Planning Officer at Babergh District Council, Planning Department, Endeavour House, 8 Russell Road, Ipswich IP1 2BX within 21 days beginning today.
Bures St Mary (ALB)(CON)(CDP)(LBC) - DC/26/01901 & DC/26/01902 Rose Cottage, Bures Green, Bures St Mary, CO8 5JU Works to enable conversion of garage / studio into Annexe.
Lavenham (LBC)(CON) - DC/26/01076 23 Prentice Street, Lavenham, CO10 9RD Application for Listed Building Consent - Works include removing around 16m2 of existing render and damaged laths carrying out minor framework repairs and installing 100mm sheeps wool insulation. New larch laths will be fixed with required counter battens, along with discreet lead dressing to the plinth and oak beading to corners. The area will then be finished with two coats of Fibre Chalk render, trowelled smooth to 20mm.

Insulate between studwork, Hemp crete mix. Hemp crete can be used as substrate for lime render if a minimum of 70mm thickness over the face of timbers can be achieved. If it cannot, We would propose using softwood cut timber lathes. Douglas fir or Larch. Lime plaster internal, and lime render external supplied by Best of lime Ltd using warmcote then limecote system to achieve additional insulation and a total of 20mm render for sufficient weather proofing. finished with traditional lime wash paint.
