PUBLIC INQUIRY
A public inquiry will be held on Tuesday 2 June 2026 at 10.00am, for two days, at The Ballroom, Wallasey Town Hall, Brighton Street, Wallasey, CH44 8ED.
The inquiry relates to an appeal by Mr Jamal Clayton against enforcement notices served by Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council concerning the unauthorised erection of a single-storey rear extension at 63 Marlowe Road, Liscard, Wallasey, CH44 3DE.
An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will determine the appeal. Members of the public may attend and, at the Inspector’s discretion, express their views. Disabled persons wishing to attend should contact the Council in advance to ensure suitable arrangements can be made. Appeal documents may be viewed at the Council’s offices by prior arrangement.

SECTION 123 AS AMENDED BY PARAGRAPH 14 OF PART V OF SCHEDULE 23 TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT PLANNING AND LAND ACT 1980
TAKE NOTICE that Wirral Borough Council in pursuance of its powers contained in the above-mentioned Act intends to dispose of an area of public open space at the site of Victoria Park, Bebington Road, Birkenhead, Wirral CH42 6SU comprising the cricket ground within the park containing approximately 9700 square metres.
The plan showing the area of public open space land to be disposed of can be provided by either email on request by emailing enquiriesestatesteam@wirral.gov.uk or by writing to the Director of Regeneration & Place, Wirral Borough Council, P.O. Box 290 Brighton Street, Wallasey, Wirral CH27 9FQ in either case quoting reference EC/Legal 25196684.
A copy of this Notice and the plan identifying the public open space land can also be viewed at Rock Ferry Library, 259 Old Chester Road, Rock Ferry CH42 3TD.
Any objections to the proposed disposal of the public open space land must be in writing and sent either by post to the Director of Regeneration & Place at the above address quoting reference EC/Legal 25196684 or by email to HRLA-Conveyancing@wirral.gov.uk quoting reference EC/Legal 25196684 by no later than 5:00 pm on 3rd June 2026.
