The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (South West) (No.7) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a northern part width of Podimore Road at Yeovil, in Somerset.
This is to enable development as permitted by Somerset Council under reference 25/00678/FUL.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO6736006).
They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Yeovil Library, King George Street, Yeovil, BA20 1PY.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 7 May 2026.
