NOTICE OF INTENTION TO DISPOSE OF OPEN SPACE
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council plans to dispose of:
• Land to the rear of 15 Snow Drop Close, Stockton, TS19 8FG. The proposed disposal will be by way of a freehold sale to the owner of 15 Snow Drop Close for garden use only. 16 square metres of land is currently designated as public open space.
• Land to the rear of 17 Askrigg Road, Stockton-on-Tees TS18 4JJ . Disposal of land to be on a freehold basis for garden use only. Measuring 238.64 sq.m or thereabouts.
• Land adjacent to Cowpen Bewley Visitor Centre, Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park, Seal Sands Link Road, Billingham, TS23 3NF. Disposal of land to be on a leasehold basis. Measuring 321.75 sq.m or thereabouts.
• Land adjacent to Billingham Beck Valley Visitor Centre, Billingham Beck Valley Country Park, A1027, Billingham, TS23 1PB, Disposal of land to be on leasehold basis. Measuring 143 sq.m or thereabouts.
• Land adjacent to Raleigh Road, Stockton-on-Tees, TS20 2NJ. Disposal of land to be on a freehold basis. Measuring 0.82 acres (3318.4 sq.m) or thereabouts.
A plan showing the affected land area is available for inspection upon request by email at landandproperty@stockton.gov.uk.
Any objections or representations regarding the proposed disposal should be submitted in writing to the Valuation and Property Manager, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, at landandproperty@stockton.gov.uk.
Objections must be received no later than 18 May 2026.
