Appropriation of Land Westwood Hill Pitches, Westwood Hill, East Kilbride
Section 24(2a) of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1959 requires a local authority before exercising any power of appropriate land which forms part of an open space to publish details of the appropriation and to consider any objections to that appropriation that may be made to them.
Notice is therefore hereby given that South Lanarkshire Council is proposing to appropriate the use of open space land at Westwood Hill, Westwood, East Kilbride to construct a new affordable housing development.
Objections
Any person who wishes to object to this proposal shall do so by Wednesday 6 May 2026 of the notice by either: Writing to Sharon Egan, Head of Housing Services, Council Offices, Almada Street, Hamilton, ML3 0AA.
