Notice under regulation 7
Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant
Proposal: Application for Planning Permission in Principle for a residential development of up to 800 units including a mixed use neighbourhood centre [inc. Shops and financial, professional and other services (Class 1A), restaurants and cafes (Class 3) and Non-residential institutes (Class 10)] with new vehicular and pedestrian access, open space, landscaping, parking, roads, drainage and associated infrastructure.
Site Location: Gartloch Farm, Land to the east of Balcurvie Road, Glasgow.
The public consultation will commence on Wednesday 22nd April 2026 with the first public exhibition event.
Two in-person public exhibition events will take place at St Benedict's Catholic Church, 755 Westerhouse Road, Easterhouse, Glasgow, G34 9RP on: Wednesday 22nd April (3pm - 7pm) and Wednesday 24th June 2026 (3pm - 7pm). Those wishing to make comments on the proposals may do so at the above events and/ on the project website from 9am 22nd April at www.gartlochgardens.com. You can also email hello@gartlochgardens.com. Comments will be open until Friday 8th May.
This notice does not relate to a live planning application. Comments on the emerging proposals should be made to the project team and not to Glasgow City Council. Any comments made at this pre-application stage are not formal representations to the planning authority in respect of any future planning application.
As part of any future planning application submitted to Glasgow City Council (as planning authority), normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time, with the opportunity to make formal representations on the proposals.
