Notice under regulation 7(2)(b) Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant
Proposed development at Braidwood House and Park Braidwood Carluke, ML8 5NE for a proposed residential development, including affordable homes, renovation of Braidwood House to provide community facilities; associated landscape works; and formation of access onto Braidwood Road (Planning Permission in Principle).
A series of consultation events are being held by Braidwood Developments Limited. Two in-person consultation events will be carried out. The initial round of consultation will be held on 29th April 2026 between 4pm and 7pm at The Station Inn, 43 Lanark Rd, Braidwood, ML8 5PE.

Please note, this notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to South Lanarkshire Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to South Lanarkshire Council, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
