of application for planning permission
Proposed development at
The State Cinema, State Lane, George Street, Grays, Essex, RM17 6LY.
I give notice that London Development Global Limited is applying to Thurrock Council as local planning authority for planning permission to:
Full planning and listed building application for the redevelopment of the site to include two additional storeys to provide 57-bed hotel with banqueting services, spa and gym suite, and associated amenity space, landscaping, parking, refuse stores and access.
Any owner* of the land or tenant** who wishes to make representations about this application should write to the Thurrock Council at Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL by 26 02 2026.
* “Owner” means a person having a freehold interest or a leasehold interest the unexpired term of which is not less than seven years.
** “Tenant” means a tenant of an agricultural holding any part of which is comprised in the land.

The grant of planning permission does not affect owners' rights to retain or dispose of their property, unless there is some provision to the contrary in an agreement or lease.
