I GIVE NOTICE THAT the following application is being made to the Council of the Borough of North Tyneside:
12 Southcliff Whitley Bay – APPLICATION NO: 26/00394/FULH
Mr James Jukes is applying for planning permission for Rear dormer to existing loft conversion. It is considered that the development proposed may affect the character or appearance of a Conservation Area.
7 Stanwick Street Tynemouth – APPLICATION NO: 26/00393/FULH
Mrs Lesley Allott is applying for planning permission for External handrail to right side of front door to match existing rail on left side. For a disabled client. It is considered that the development proposed may affect the character or appearance of a Conservation Area.
As this is a householder application, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.

Persimmon Homes Ltd is/are applying for planning permission for: Residential development of up to 2,700 dwellings comprising: Full planning application for 683 residential dwellings, a new spine road, road bridge, and associated highways, drainage infrastructure and landscaping. Outline planning application sought for up to 2,017 dwellings, a primary school, up to 1000sqm of retail floorspace, new metro station and associated highways, drainage, site wide servicing, landscaping infrastructure and demolition works (Amended plans/documents received March 2026).
The application is being advertised as it involves major development.
The development proposed would affect a right of way to which Part 3 of the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 applies.
