Notice is given that the following applications have been submitted to Horsham District Council between 20/03/2026 and 26/03/2026. The list below only includes applications we are legally required to advertise. You can view a full list of applications and comment on applications on the Council’s website at horsham.gov.uk. By law, we have to allow 21 days for comments to be received. In practice, we accept comments after this date. Comments received will be published on our website.

DC/26/0366 Land North West of Southwater
Outline planning application, with all matters reserved (except for primary access to the high-way) for a phased development comprising: the demolition of existing buildings and the con-struction of up to 1,000 residential dwellings (including affordable housing) (Use Class C3); up to 80 specialist accommodation units (Use Class C2); a mixed-use neighbourhood centre (Use Classes E and F); education facilities (Use Class F1(a)); business and employment floorspace (Use Classes B2, B8 and E(g)); redevelopment of existing agricultural buildings including con-struction of a building for community use (Use Classes E and F2); improvements to public rights of way; sports pitches; gypsy and traveller pitches/plots; public open space; landscaping, and associated infrastructure.

Affecting Setting of a Listed Building. The development would affect a Public Right of Way. The proposed development does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated. The application is accompanied by an environmental statement. Members of the public may obtain copies of the environmental statement from the Agent. Charges may apply. Section 106.
