What is planned?

REDCAR & CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL

TAKE NOTICE that the Borough Council has received the following planning applications and listed building consents (LBC) submitted under The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990:

R/2026/0147/CA: Demolition of existing building; proposed replacement single storey dwelling with basement at The Chalet, Saltburn Road Saltburn

R/2026/0158/CA & R/2026/0194/LB: Planning & LBC for change of use from distillery (Use Class sui generis) to deli / restaurant (Use Class E); replacement of solid panels at rear with double glazing in existing units at Unit 2, Town Hall, Westgate, Guisborough

R/2026/0172/CA: Proposed new shop front with additional entrance door at 19 Church Street, Guisborough

R/2026/0174/CA: Subdivision of existing dwelling into 2 dwellings including replacement windows and doors to upvc at 14 North Road, Loftus

R/2026/0177/LB & R/2026/0178/CA: Planning & LBC for installation of hardwood timber shop front at 9 Market Place, Westgate, Guisborough

R/2026/0190/CA: Retrospective application for replacement windows to upvc at New Garth House, Upper Garth Gardens, Guisborough

Applications submitted under Article 15 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015:

R/2026/0213/RMM: Application for reserved matters approval (access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale) following Outline Planning Permission R/2014/0372/ OOM for 165 dwellings with associated landscaping, bund and ancillary works at Land at Low Grange Farm, South Bank.

Applications can be viewed on the Council's web site: www.redcar-cleveland.gov.uk/Planning and documents downloaded if required. Anyone who wishes to make representations on the above should make them in writing to the Section within 21 days of the date of this publication. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 any representations made are available for public inspection.
