The following planning application has been received which affects the setting of a Listed Building and is either within a Conservation Area or affects its setting

1. Variation of condition 2 (plans and specifications) and 19 (charging points) on previous permission 2021/92734 for Improvement and widening of the A629 to include junction improvements, re-positioning of footways and footway improvements, pedestrian crossing provision, the alteration, demolition and erection of walls, construction of retaining walls, erection of fencing, hard and soft landscaping to include the removal of trees and replacement planting, replacement street lighting, change of use of land to highway and change of use to and formation of car park on land adjoining 103 Halifax Road at Various locations - A629, Halifax Road, Huddersfield. Application No. 2026/90453.

The following planning applications have been received which are either within a Conservation Area or affect its setting

2. Erection of rear dormer with loft conversion at 50, Brougham Road, Marsden, Huddersfield. Application No. 2026/90493.

3. Erection of first floor side extension over existing garage and alterations to part convert garage to living accommodation at 3, Park Mews, Farnley Tyas, Huddersfield. Application No. 2026/90504

The following planning application has been received which is for Discharge of Conditions of a Listed Building Consent

4. Discharge of details reserved by condition 3 (demolition methodology) on previous permission 2024/92473 for Listed Building Consent for alteration, refurbishment to existing library and gallery to form museum and (retained) gallery at Huddersfield Library and Art Gallery, Princess Alexandra Walk, Huddersfield. Application No. 2026/90502.

The following planning applications have been received which constitute Major Development

5. Removal and/or variation of conditions 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15 and 21 on previous permission 2021/94337 for erection of construction facility to facilitate the construction works for the section of the TRU between Huddersfield and Westtown (Dewsbury), provision of strategic construction compound including open storage, trackworks and overhead line equipment (OLE) assembly and associated welfare facilities, construction of a retaining wall, environmental mitigation measures (noise attenuation) and provision of temporary platform for use during works at Huddersfield Station with associated access, utilities/ drainage works at Operational railway land, Hillhouses Yard, Alder Street, Huddersfield. 6.
