What is planned?

PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF OPEN SPACE UNDER SECTION 123 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Mansfield District Council (“the Council”) intends to dispose of a parcel of land known as the astroturf pitch at Manor Park, Mansfield Woodhouse (“the Land”) by way of granting a lease with a term of 25 years. The Land measures approximately 7,295 m2.
Copies of a plan showing the position of the Land (edged in red) may be inspected free of charge during normal opening hours from Monday to Friday at the Civic Centre, Chesterfield Road South, Mansfield, NG19 7BH.

The Council is required to consider any objections to the proposed disposal of the Land. Any persons wishing to object or make any other representation regarding the proposed disposal should write to Legal Services, Civic Centre, Chesterfield Road South, Mansfield, NG19 7BH or email

gdaley@mansfield.gov.uk

by noon on 1st April 2026 stating the grounds for any objection or representation.
